You can read Colin Chaulk's reaction to re-signing here. I also talked to Leo Thomas late last night and he's thrilled.
Here's also an interestng story about local memorabilia collector Don Graham who has a ton of Komets progams he's scanning into the Allen County Library database as part of his retirement project. Don is a huge Komets fan and co-author

2 home openers in a row I will be out of town, must be a sign that we will win the cup again.
I see there will be no Komets Photo Album after all. I just got my refund from Fort Wayne Newspapers.
Me too, Shawn. I was very disappointed. I can't believe they couldn't sell enough of them after all the hard work that must have gone into it, not to mention Burgee getting to name it and all. Where were all those Komet fans when we needed them?
Was wondering about the book.
I didn't name it, was just trying to get credit for someone elses work, been in management too long, its a habit.
Nice articles, Blake. Yeah, it WOULD seem strange for Chaulk to leave. I honestly didn't even think of that as a possibility... unless he retired for some reason and got into coaching somewhere else, of course. As it is, I half expect him to wind up as the Komets coach eventually.
Sorry to hear about the coffee table book. No, I hadn't ordered a copy. Like so many people, I'm lucky to be able to buy enough "absolute necessity" groceries right now, so everything else (like books) are right out. But I was hoping to find a way to get one eventually. Oh well.
Is that what happened it got canceled? Dang...was really looking forward to it.
Me too, I got a check back in the mail today. Bummer...
