Tailing the Komets

Update from camp

The guys are getting dressed to go out on the ice but here are a few updates:

* Travis Whitehead has signed a 25-game pro tryout contract with Norfolk and is off the Komets' roster for now.

* Vince Taratino is signing with the team, but he'll be going on injured reserve.

* Gary Graham is now a full-time assistant coach.

* The Komets have added local product Greg Leffler, a forward, and defenseman Zach Gieszler to the training camp roster. Gieszler is a friend of Brad MacMillan.

Dschebig: Fortunately I am not a Leaf fan. The hype up here is too much to bear. The Leaf front office is not about winning. That makes Fort Wayne and your franchise look that much better from North of the Border. Best Regards

Drop that puck! Drop that puck! Drop that puck! DROP THAT PUCK!!!!! :D

That's interesting, RK. My brother was a high school teacher too, and now that you mention it, you do remind me a bit of him. He was in love with his own opinion too! He-he. Just kiddin' ya. ;)

Mike- I Don't mean to insult your intel but you can follow the K's on the web www.wowo.com steams the games or on the B2 network. I find it the easiest to go through the Komet web site. I don't recommend trying to watch B2 and listen to Chase on WOWO at the same time as There is a 15 sec. time delay. You see it long before your hear about it. Welcome about! Actual we are not all nuts just Burgee and me.

And you know what I'm in love with, having never met me? So many "stereotypical woman" comments I could make. However, I tend to agree with and like the other ladies on here, so no need to take down the masses.

Schebig, you bringing the ripple tomorrow? It will probably get pretty cold sitting down there beside you, I'm sure we'll need a few swigs especially if we get half way through the bottle and start nibbling on dog biscuits. I'll bring the pink pens with the pink fluff on top that you like using. If you could bring the crayon box with the sharpener on the back that would be great, should I wear my thermals, will I be able to press the scoreboard horn with my gloves on?

DSchebig, I lump myself in with crazy, so count me in! It's the fun place to be, I've found....plus, my son likes having the fun, crazy, un-stereotypical mom, so it works for me. Why be normal, as they say.

Wendy....d'oh! :) LOL

RK: Thank you, I think....but I, sir, am no lady...I tell my son that, and he just dies laughing for some reason. He's 9 and does not even have a clue what that means, I just must say it funny. Or maybe he gets it and it's true! Hmmm....

Ducks VS Oilers=boring compared with Komets!! Can they both lose this game, please? Isn't it bad to have Oil on Ducks?

Actually, that was more a friendly jab at my big brother than at you, RK. He died of a heart attack a couple of weeks before Christmas 2008. I really miss him. :(

So maybe you shouldn't make assumptions before you know the whole story either.
