Update from Tim's wife

The tests are showing very little brain activity. Tim has a do not recesiate order.

Khris said anyone who wishes to can go to Parkview over the weekend to say goodbye. He's in room 1209 and visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

There's another option here. If you like, you can post your memories of Tim here and I will make sure to get them to the family. I will also keep you posted as soon as I hear more details.

This is just so blasted sad.

I will always remember Tim for his class. He was the ultimate homer, but he wasn't clueless in that he never thought the Komets could do no wrong. Despite that, he never thought a referee could do everything right. I love the fact that he used to say the game was boring when it was. I like the way he always talked about the team when things were going wrong and didn't pick out individuals. I also loved his ties because he was one sharp dresser. I loved the fact that he would answer Pat or Otto on the headphones during the broadcasts, leaving everyone else to wonder what the heck was going on, who he was talking to and what that person was saynig. I loved how he was the CALM one compared to Randy sometimes, and then the next time Randy would be trying to calm him down. My goodness! LOL. I loved how the two of them often got so wrapped up in the game that they forgot they were broadcasting and were just reacting to the play, just like any other fans. I love how he could get discombobulated (official term) when there were things going on at both ends of the ice.

I love how they were always there for all the big playoff moments. To do anything for more than 600 games and 22 years takes amazing dedication.

Goodbye my friend.

He will be watching over you. You still have a family here, too. Once a part of Komet Nation, always part of Komet Nation. If you need anything, just pop on and ask. We're a group that can help out. I have met wonderful people on this site. :)

I'm sure you will meet some of us at the memorial. We are here for you. Take care of yourself.
