That was a nice story, Blake. As I posted before, he was one of a very, very few, that I notced on Wednesday night. He, along with Woodard are two guys I'm rooting for to make this team.

You all, I have no doubt, heard the expression that there is no "I" in TEAM. If you read my last post carefully you will see that there is no "I" in "noticed" too. My mind works quicker than I can type sometimes. ( It is comforting to know that my mind works quicker than something.)

I'm pretty fired up for the game tonight. It'll be nice to see some more veterans out there and I'm hoping I'll see some more desire by our guys on the ice to be a part of this team. I think a lot of those guys playing Wednesday night made the coach's job a bit easier by how they played. It's tough to take a lot out of these games, but you can always see desire pretty clearly, no matter the level of talent in the competition.

Ouch, Burgee....I'm wounded.... :) I sorta like those drinks myself, especially while watching the Komets play! I hope Boohoochard is playing. I love harrassing him, and after the crappy workweek I had, someone in Muskegon needs my....hmmm, can't think of the right word. Trash talk is too basketball-ish. How about verbal assault? I'll see ya tonight, DSchebig!

Did anyone see the Dayton defeated Toledo last evening
4-2. Either Dayton changed their lineup or Toledo really sucks based on how they played here Wednesday. If Toledo is really that bad than Kazoo will win a lot of games. They play Toledo and/or Cincinnati 43 times this season. I hope they love playing in the ECHL. And they thought playing in a 6 team league caused them to see the same team to often. Screw Paulie Picard.

Hi Dschebig. I saw that Dayton defeated Toledo 4-2 last night. Dayton played Ryan Mior half of the game and I know you remember him from last season with Port Huron. He is a terrific young goaltender who really gave the entire IHL fits last season. I think we need to be careful when trying to compare the IHL to the ECHL during the pre-season. Tomorrow the results could be just the opposite. No one knows what the coaches are looking for or trying in the pre-season games. I'm going to let Kalamazoo alone and hope someday they find themselves back in the IHL. I do wish good luck to the former Komet players on their team, however. Lets get Muskegon tonight!!!!
