To get this back on the STH, the one thing I do miss is the STH night with the team. Not so much for the 16-22 year old girls trying to get with the players, but a chance for my son to bowl with a player and get to hang out. I really wish they had these again. I'm not going to stop getting my tickets because of it, but it would be nice to have one again. I think it's been three years since they had a night with the team.

A torn ACL is nothing like a torn MCL. You can actually play sports WITHOUT an ACL..........athletes in the past have done it before. So ya, I guess I am a knee expert compared to some of you, LOL. Good try Jungle, but once again, opening your mouth when you don't know the facts........

Easy there Andy.... Many an athlete have missed significant time from ACL injuries. Can you play without an ACL? Yes; but usually only after missing significant time after the injury to clean up the knee. Usually with an ACL injury, theres colateral damage in that area of the knee like to cartilidge and even displacement of the kneecap.

So maybe before you call out others for not knowing all the facts, you should double check yours......

Tell ya what Sherminator, you tear out your ACL... Give me a jingle and we'll compete in whatever event you want. Let's see how you do.

Leave Andy alone! He glossed me "Goalie Expert"! I will defend his honor to the death to anyone who challenges him.

Well.... at least I might raise a Spockion eyebrow at you.

I'm thinking Andy must be a rec league goaltender. He seems to have some knowledge in such arenas.. He's no "expert".. but we're not all Snuff.

Hoss, I applaud you for trying.....bowling is always fun, no matter who with, and with professional hockey players, it would have to be a riot! My son would love that as well.

For anyone who is interested in the difference.....ACL and MCL are two completely different ligaments. You surely can play without a ligament (and without anyother body part or with a concussion, etc), but were I a doctor (which I can only assume Andy Sherman is), I would certainly advise against it. Both are serious knee injuries and need rest and rehabilitation. Not that I would know since I do not have a career in the health field or anything, as I am sure Andy Sherman does.
