Great Schrock video! He might not be everyone's fan fave, but he is one of mine, and I am so happy to see him stay here another year. I have one following right after him in his footsteps (in his skate strides?), so to see a hometown kid make it this far is very inspiring, especially when you hear every day from friends and family that your own kid will "never" make it to any high level in hockey, because hardly anyone does. I won't give up hope for him and I don't get discouraged anymore. They don't know, and I look to people like Kaleigh as my inspiration. Maybe he won't go any higher in hockey than where he is now, but he loves what he does, and if I could go to my job every day loving what I did, I'd be happy too. I can only hope that my own son can achieve this much success in his own life. Congratulations to Kaleigh and his family!
