I don't know guys. Watching that footage....OC is always in the picture feeding the puck to Hodgman and they look awesome together.

I'd hate to break-up PC, LEO, OC.....but man, I wonder if they might try this:

No particular order here:

LEO, PC, HUK
Hodgman, OC, Schrocky
Chaulk, Syro, Chewy

I think it will be:

Chaulk, Syro, Hodgy
Leo, OC, PC
Huk, Chewy, Schrock

But we will see.

Any clue Blake?

I think Al would be nuts to break up the great chemistry that Thomas, O'Connor and Drouin have on the ice...

I think it would be great to go three strong down the middle...

Syro, Chaulk, Hukalo/Schrock

Drouin, Thomas, O'Connor

Chewy, Hodgeman, Hukalo/Schrock

MacMillan and Warner (extra forwards)

Woods sits (too unpredictable for playoffs) Not too many teams can boast being that potentially strong down the middle of the ice. Add that to a strong defense and 2 good goalies and I wouldnt bet against the K's in the playoffs...

Blake, thanks for the e-mail. I just now have had a chance to read and respond. Line #3 is interesting as I agree, (maybe some others in the org. are not), but it confirms my thinking. Line #4, you are right on, I couldn't agree more with your statement along with your ranking of the person.

BUSH LEAGUE...How many times does this have to happen? He was our here 3 years ago. Let him go. I hope and pray that some day we get in to a REAL league where this kind of stuff won't happen. It's crazy.

hockeynut: Can you please re-type that and clarify that so it makes sense? You're missing some words and do not even identify what you are talking about. I strongly encourage you to express your opinion, but after reading that, I have no idea what it is??

I'm pretty sure "here" was meant to be "hero", and that the person he is talking about is Hodgman, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe he's talking about Woods?

Maybe he's Burgee and since he ran out of yellows he took a few extra blues and a couple of more reds just to make sure and forgot who he was?

You could be right Wendy.

If so I would like to point out hockeynut there is nothing bush league about sending players down for the playoffs. In fact Toronto sent two other guys down to the ECHL and the NHL sending players down to the AHL for playoffs is a yearly occurrence.

Ya know, there may be an actual Bush League out there and we need to think of that league and its fans feelings before we just throw that derogatory comment out there.......

Teams they are affiliated with.

Leagues that have rules that players must be part of the active roster prior to the playoffs.

If Curadeau were sent to Muskegon tomorrow would everyone think that was okay?

The Komets are acting well within the rules, I think the point that was made was that the rules seems to be a little outlandish.

The Bush League? Hmmmmm.

I like it. Kind of has a nice sound to it. I like it.

Who wants in the Bush League? Any takers?

And if Curadeau goes to Muskegon, that would be the final straw. It would be on like Donkey Kong with those Hillbillies in Muskegon. I all ready can't stand those BlurryWhacks.

Yes, that makes sense JM, now I see.

I'm wondering about the playoff roster part though, at least historically. For example, the Blues were always good at pumping up Peoria (former IHL days) if they didn't make the NHL playoffs. I'm not 100% sure some of those guys played in Peoria during the regular season. I also wonder if vertical vs lateral moves make a difference. But I do understand your point (and hockeynut's if that is his point).

Hey, I'm all for pulling Steve Fletcher out of the stands and suiting him up, if that's within the rules. I love Fletch!! My guess is that every coach and owner in the IHL saw this (Hodgman) coming all season long.
