Hits the only one blogging tonight, is there a blog boycott going on? Wife and kid went to Mich game, they left with 10 min to go in game, at those ticket prices I pulled my hair out! I asked my son to compare it to komets game, he said he likes the Komets more, its more active. That college hockey analysis by a 13 year old, I suppose I would have enjoyed listening to the Michigan fight song live, he did think the michigan helmets looked cool.

Miami outclassed Alabama-Huntsville whose goalie kept them in the game. Michigan and Bemidji State was a great game despite the final score. I think the Miami-Michigan Sunday matchup is going to be a great one. Michigan looked most impressive tonight but Miami should be ready Sunday.
Way to go Butler!!!! They look real good and have a great shot at the championship!!! I cannot even stand to be around myself for 24 hours so how can anyone else do it??
One disappointment at the Coliseum tonight for the NCAA Regional is no scoreboard replays, not one, never. Not sure why.
Did they rent the scoreboard staff? Gotta pay for that stuff.
Way to go butler bulldogs!! i am a huge fan, if butler is a mid major, what is IU? great games at the coliseum tonight, it should be a good championship tomorrow with mich. vs. miami. the only downfall was they were trying to play that stupid music over the band music at the same time.
Skeeter, I was told by the powers that be to not just have band music played. When Michigan was the only band at the game they only played about 4 songs in repetition anyways, jumped in whenever they wanted and drowned out the recorded music and videos, and the band leader did not wait for the cue to play the national anthem per the request of the NCAA and ESPN. We tried to go by a to-the-second script but communication was not at it's best. Hopefully today is a different story.
komets pa sure nailed the lack of communications. For all the wires and headsets it totally sucked. There had to be at least 50 or 75 NCAA people who had no clue as to what their job was. It took 30 minuets to get assists on goals. Very confusing if your the scorekeeper. I sure hope it is better tonight. The hockey was very good. The goaltending was outstanding. Michigan vs Miami Ohio will be a very good game. Both teams play very good position hockey. "Great" Coaching on both sides.
Dschebig - What was your take on the Miami rant about bad ice? I admit there were times in their game that I was wondering about the ice with the puck bouncing and lost edges, but Michigan sure as heck didn't seem to have any trouble with the ice. They were quick as hell and they really moved the puck.
