The way the guys look skating, they are very unsure of the their ice. Very short, choppy strides, almost as if they are checking their footing each time.
Blake, there was an accident on the ice just as they were about to open the doors. A worker who was helping install the goals fell and busted his head open. They stopped the fans before they could get to the stairs so they could clean up the blood. Mr Geary told me they had to take him off the ice on a stretcher. He says the worker should be ok except for the multiple stitches. All in all,it was fun. They got alot of bugs to kill if they want to compete with the big boys. I'm referring about the arena staff. The place looks great. Not really sure it could seat 10000 for a hockey game. It's a huge improvement over their other rink. I would drive down again.

John, I believe the quoted capacity for hockey is 8,800. Think they almost had a sell out for this home opener.
