I hate it when a handful of fans make all the crowd look bush league like happened tonight. That was ridiculous. Throwing crap didn't accomplish anything other than embarassing everyone else. No excuse.
Show some class and set a great example for all the kids. Remember who you are and who you represent.
As for the game, the Komets again played well defensively but didn't score enough. There's a lot of pressure on some very young defensemen, and they are going to make mistakes. Centomo was awesome for the Lumberjacks and made four or five game-saving stops. This was the first game I've seen all year when I felt like the goaltender stole one by not just making the saves he should have. Komets really missed Blair Stayzer standing in front of the net, and the Komets seam to get burned once or twice a game when the youngsters start scrambling around in their own end rushing to get the puck out instead of taking a half-second to look up and see what's open. Some of that stuff you just have to live with until they mature, but it's the other end of the ice that should concern everyone.

Not that I condone the throwing of stuff but the Fury-Jacks have to stop acting like they won the Turner Kup they also need to not go after Komet players after the final whistle. Their fans were a joy too, cussing out all the kids around them and flipping us all off as they walked out. I hope they think about the way they acted on the way back to their trailers because that's how they acted.
The Jacks were nice enough to be as classless as the dummies throwing things when Bouchard unleashed a profane tirade on Section 215. Bush league all around.
Why in the name of hockey was Rodger playing forward with 3 mins left and a one goal defecit?
Stayzer is better defensively than at least two of the dmen on the ice tonight. Everything that DeAngelis does well (shooting from the blueline) he makes up for with his defensive play in his own zone.
Shrock is a tail-busting, hard-working, leave it all on the ice kind of guy. I appreciate his efforts.

Chewy looked good for his first game, good effort.
Losing by one without Boucher, Chaulk, or Shaf makes it a little easier to deal with.
Bouchard dropping f-bombs on his way out makes it a little harder to deal with.
At least wait until $1 Pepsi night, that stuff is expensive.
I don't know which people I'm more ashamed of; the people that threw those things or the people that cheered them afterwards.

Two very soft goals by the Jacks won the game. I am sure Tim would love to have those two back! As a former goalie I know what its like to give up a couple easy ones after playing well most of the night. These just happen. Boochard it just a jerk at the end coming off the ice, but doesnt warrant throwing stuff people! Plus the fact that the Jerks....oops I mean Jacks acted like they won the cup at the end was stupid. If you are going to throw anything then throw pictures of the back to back Turner cups at them!
I hate the Fury Jerks. It was good to see Bertram try and go after GoonMaster, but maybe he should have done so during the game? He had his chances to beat on Lawmaster all game long, and chose to do it after the whistle??? I don't get that one.
Well, the way I look at the FuryJerks v. Komets since the Gooning Event on Halloween, they are 2-0 aganist us, and we haven't gotten any thing over on them at all. Schrocky pounded his opponent last night that was about 100 pounds bigger than him, but does that settle the score??? NO. Lawmaster, Bouchard, and Big Snake all need beatdowns. Also, I saw an Elbow thrown by a FuryJerk player on one of our guys and no one did anything, again. I guess the Komets don't care about standing up for their teammates. So we shouldn't give a rats arse about it either. I am in no way condoning what idiot fans did at the end of the game last night, because it was just that...idiotic, but maybe if the K's would take care of business on the ice, then idiot fans wouldn't need to take out their frustrations on the FuryJerks. Fans were wanting "to go" with Bouchard and Goonmaster after the game, how about the Komets?
If I were a betting man I would venture to bet that this isn't the end of pop tossing, flipping off and swearing at the FuryJacks. There was a real hatred for them after the game, people went out of their way to get closer to the ice to flip them off.
Sorry for the late post....I don't at all condone the throwing of stuff, especially since it hit one of the kids on the ice, but wow, it could not have happened to a nicer team. At one point in the game, DiPace flipped off section 217. VERY professional. This was before ANYTHING was thrown. The Lumberjacks were yelling obscenities at my 9 year old son and me, who were giving them the "thumbs-down" sign as they were coming off the ice (we were in section 215 lower). Yeah, they're a bunch of sweethearts, indeed.
