This is exactly why the brought Lardner in...he's been a great addition to the team! He was great in PH and I'm glad to see that nothing has changed with him.

On another note...just saw that former Kalamazoo and Odessa goalie Joel Martin was called up to the NY Islanders. Great for him...he was always a pretty solid netminder. I think it's hilarious that the Isles felt so comfortable in net that they traded away Roloson to TB and relied on DiPietro only to have him go back on the shelf again with another injury. What an albatross! Last night they started their back-up goalie...he gets hurt in warm-ups and then they have to start their emergency goalie. So they had called up Martin. I understand that a lot of guys had to go down for Martin to get there, but I'm glad that he made it.

Lardner has always been a top notch guy and he hasn't changed a bit. I always had a lot of respect for him when he played for Port Huron. I am very happy to have him in orange and black, and yes, that was the STEAL of the season! He's just one more piece of the puzzle that's putting this team back together...finally.

I just want to know who's going to get top defensive forward this year. Lardner or Chaulker? That's going to be one tough decision.

Go K's!!!!

I couldn't stand Lardner when he played for Port Huron, and I wasn't too sure about it when he got traded here. But now I'm happy to say he's one of my favorites. The dude just gets it, plays hard, does what's needed to be done.

Tab Lardner is a fine player who has skill, determination, and great hockey instincts. I always respected his play and am glad he is a Komet. One thing the article didn't mention was his ability to play in the defensive zone.

His addition has been a blessing on the penalty kill as well. I think a CHL team would be hard pressed to find two penalty killers like Tab Lardner and Colin Chaulk on the same team.

Does anyone have the website for the Springfield Americans and the Columbus BlueJackets? Thanks in advance.

Great attitude. Good character. Hard worker. Team player. What more could one ask for? Thanks Tab. Great to have you here.

PatrickHF...the roster on the K's website says 82...GM is saying 7. If it were me...I'd wait until I found out for 100% certainty. I take it you are a die hard Mirasty fan if you are looking at getting a jersey before his skates even hit the ice.

Nasty was originally going to wear 82 last Saturday if he could make ir and then it was changed to 7 and now it looks like he's possibly back to 82. I honestly would hold off a few games to see if he doesn't switch to 41 before getting a Mirasty jersey to make sure he sticks with a number.

A lot of people are die hard Mirasty fans. Almost everywhere he's played, Jon has developed a very passionate following.

Just watch some of the videos from Saturday's game. I saw at least a few Mirasty jerseys in the crowd.

There was a guy in 216 in the lower bowl with a Syracuse Crunch #41 Mirasty jersey on a few rows in front of me. He can clearly be seen in a few if the fight videos on youtube, particularly the ones posted by myndmelt. I kinda thought he was one of the regular commenters here.. but I don't know since I'm fairly new here.

Lardner score six points in 13 games before Chaulk arrived. He's scored sixteen points in the 14 games Chaulk has returned. I'm thinking maybe the credit should be redirected to Chaulk.

Lardner also has great leadership skills. He is never quiet on the bench. "Come on boys. Let's go get 'em boys. Watch behind you. Got one coming."

How pi$$ed would you be if you were Musslewhite? "We're not going to waive you and we're not going to play you!". Nice. He must've done something to pi$$ off the management. Too bad, he's a decent player that could have seen some ice on another team.

Chalk,Lardner and Patrasso are clicking. Natturo clicked once he left the Fort. I have heard Larner and Missouri's coach did not see eye to eye. I like the move to get Nasty but hope he doesn't just goon it up.

Not sure what Musselwhite could have done....seems like a decent player. But, who knows? I'm no expert, that's for sure....
