Combining the threads "Who do you want? and "Weekend will determine K's order, roster", we get the league rules and some fans opinions on the final roster.
There sure seems to be a lot of fans (me included) who would leave Warner off the playoff roster. A number of fans (me included) would leave Mirasty off the playoff roster. Others have sprinkled in other names. Sometimes their list included two defensemen , sometimes two forwards. One even listed a goaltender.
So lets look at it from a "common sense" perspective first and assume there will be no injuries before the roster deadline.
Each team is allowed to have 19 players on the roster. Obviously two of them will be goaltenders so that drops the number to 17 skaters. Presently the Komets have 8 defensemen. (Dupuis, Molle, Krug, Warner, DeAngelis, Phillips, Ceson, and Ratchuk). Keeping them all would force the Komets to go with 9 forwards plus their amateur. I don't think they will do that. I think they will go with 10 forwards. Presently there are 11 forwards on the roster.
Cutting one defenseman leaves them with 7. Cutting one forward leaves them with 10. To me, that is the proper number for both. It gives you three forward lines plus one player, and three defensive pairings plus one player.
I've stated who I would keep. I wonder if the Franke's and Coach Sims have the same idea.
