Former Komet Weekes, yet another well-spoken goaltender, posted a 7-5-0 record with a 2.42 GAA in 16 games with the New Jersey Devils last season.
Born of Barbadian descent, the 34-year-old native of Scarborough, Ont., proudly wears the Barbados flag on the back of his goalie mask as a tribute to his roots.
He is also one of the NHL's most community-minded and charitable players.
Weekes is 105-163-6 with a 2.88 GAA and 19 shutouts in 348 NHL games (317 starts) with the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Rangers and Devils.
Still listed as an unrestricted free agent, he provided thoughtful analysis on the NHL Network during last spring's Stanley Cup playoffs.

What are the rules and regulations for this blog?
Thanks,
Paul D
Let
Paul D-- Burgee is either on "New" meds or off of his meds all together. This is mostly a hockey blog where just about anything goes. a couple of simple rules:
1. Keep it clean
2. Nothing should ever be taken personally
3. Everyone is welcome to comment Good, Bad or other
4. You do not have to be a Komet fan (It helps)
5. If you like Paul Picard (get lost) that's my idea not Blakes
6. Blake is our leader. If he don't know the answer he will get it.
Now you know, have at it. If you need Doggy cookies ask Wendy. If you need suntan lotion ask Burgee.
What about where to get meds and suntan lotion? :)
Does anyone have any good suggestions on a smaller handheld video camera, by the way? I'd like to take one to games (do they allow them into Komet games, does anyone know?) and only have an old, non-digital one. I'd rather not have to sell a kidney or my car to buy it, but would like a decent one....any ideas?
I have a very small a decent digital video camera that is made by RCA that you put an SD card in for storage and it does HQ video. Very simple and easy to use, has a built in usb plug on it that hooks easily into the computer to dump the media onto the hard drive or onto a dvd, and I think it was maybe $60-$80 max.......Let me find a link for you.

Obviously there are more brands and choices, but this one works good.
More rules: 1. No discussing topics that we have beaten like a dead horse like, switching leages, affiliations, etc etc.
Henley fought Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond tonight in Rangers game.
piere luc who?letourneau leblondwho? did he beat him up?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best quote ever about Henley: "That's one of those guys who eats straw and craps in the street. HE'S A HORSE!"
Henley won-Henley won/ I have 2 game worn Henley jerseys & 4 different hockey cards.
