It's going to be 48 pages, full-color, sort of a Sports Illustrated, here's the champions-type coffee table book. I promise not to write too much so we can cram as many of Chad, Ellie and Brian's photos in there as possible. (My real dream is to get one of my photos in there with those superstars. I'm not holding my breath, but, hey, I can dream.) That said, I've got a really cool plan on the text I think you'll like. Everybody I've told it to so far that it was inspired. (A lack of sleep and too much caffeine always helps.)
We're experimenting to see if this kind of thing can work, so if you are interested, please click on the pdf above and order one. There's going to be a limited early supply. If you've seen our Allen County Photo Album history book we published last year, it will be similar to that.
All I can promise is it will be our best effort. There's no deadline yet, but I would sure hope we can get this finished by the end of the summer.

Blake: Will this be available at Komet Kuarters too, or should we order strictly through the PDF/form?
This is strictly a deal for the paper so I'd use the order form.
Of course I'll be ordering the book. My only question is, why can't the picture on the order form be the cover???? Ha-ha!
Oh sweet! Sounds like a good birthday present for myself.
Off topic question- does anyone know if they're gonna rerun game 5 on channel 55 anytime soon? My DVR seemed to mysteriously erase about 10 minutes of the second period. I got all the good stuff, but I'd like to get the whole game!
The rerun is at 11:50 am today (thursday)
I had thought that they might sell DVDs of the final game like they did last year. Granted, it wasn't as dramatic, but still. Of course, I was also expecting to see jars of "melted ice" for sale at the EOS party.
And Blake... Whenever I hear the term "coffee table book", I can't help but think of "Throw Mama from the Train". You know the one I mean. ;)
Wendy,
Komet Kuarters will have the Game 5 on DVD for sale, we should have it in the store by Memorial Day.
I tried to fill out the order form and had no luck. How do i get a copy now? Take care of me Blake! I need help!
Me too, it wouldn't take my credit card number.
I thought you were supposed to print it out and send it in. I'll do some more checking.
Print it out? Send it in??? What is this, the 90s???? If everyone could give me their home addresses, I think we should start blogging via snail mail. hahahahaha! just kidding everyone (Esp. Blake).
Really though, I can't wait to get the book, even if we have to go a bit old school to get it. If you look at the fine print below the Allen County book, it has a written guarantee about the technological security to make you more comfortable about purchasing online using your credit card. Does it not use the same program?
Anyway to get more copies of Wed. edition. The box was empty and I had a birthday dinner to attend. I need at least two more copies. Can anyone help me out?
Will the paper come out just below the cup holder on my computer?
We're supposed to have it up soon so you can order it online, but the right hand wasn't sure what the left hand was doing. I can only worry about my end, pumping things out in longhand on yellow legal paper with crayolas.
Cool, printed out the form and will mail it in tomorrow.
Hey Blake: Is there any deadline date for getting the pre-order in?
