I think we got beat in every facet of the game out there. We've got some work to do this week.

They really had us bottled up in the neutral zone where all we could really do was dump it in and try to get it back, and our power play and penalty kill need work. There's no doubt about it. We haven't had enough time yet. Our power play has to get better and so does our penalty killing. That will happen with time.

Dschebig was first due to the new league, then chuckitt and mightbite due to tantrums. Burgee, are you still out there? Theyre dropping like flies. Mightbite sure loved his Wendy. If she was let go last year before the playoffs, why the meltdown now?
Who let Wendy go? Wasn't that a volunteer thing? I wouldn't have thought tim and randy would have dumped her.

Early this year and even last year I expressed concerns about the age of this team. I said that I was concerned our vets would tire even more quickly with the extended travel and the speed of this league. I stated there was no way Guy Dupuis was anything but a 5th or 6th defenseman in this league.
I also said when Legault was brought back at training camp that if he played any significant minutes this team was in trouble.
They looked slow and took needless and careless penalties along with penalties due to not being able to keep up. Puck posession was close to 2 to 1 for the Rush I would guess.
I have 100% confidence in Al Sims, the Frankes and the Komets organization to make the needed adjustments. Will they win a cup this year? Who knows? Will they sit back and allow much more of what happened last night? Of course not. Changes will be made. First with practice and work and then with personel. The Komets have never (in the nearly 20 years I have watched them) sat back and allowed a season to go by without at least trying to get better if needed.

Snuff: Great post. I just hope if changes need to be made with a couple vets, the front office has the courage to make them. At this point Im not sure it does.
