I figured I gave him a lot of respect by calling him a professional and defending his answer. You are right he did take a lot of crap from fans, coaches. But than that is his job to deflect troubling questions from guys like you. That is what make him a professional the ability to protect everyone and be politically correct. There are times, I am sure, he says one thing to us and another to the officials. You do understand that answer at least I think I do anyway.

Me and my secretary are going to be wearing our K's jerseys at the office. We are putting Komet signs in the yard and the regulation sized Komet flag is going up on the front of our building. We will be rocking on N. Coldwater Rd. tomorrow!! Komet Fans feel free to stop in and let's get the party started early!!

I will be breaking the dress code and rocking my Komets jersey tomorrow. I'm feeling creative too, so I'm going to take three of those turner cup signs that have been handed out, tape the sides together, then wear them like a hat, or crown. What? Are you serious? SOMEONE ALREADY DID THAT??!!?? DANG IT!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll just get there bright and early and scream like a crazed lunatic Komet fan who was released into the Jungle to watch his team win the Turner Cup. GO KOMETS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortunately for me, Friday's are casual day at work so I've got my Orange Collar Crowd Komets shirt on. I thought about my jersey but thought that might be pushing things! I've shredded a bunch of paper so I'll have confetti for tonight and I plan on getting orange streamers at lunch to throw onto the ice when we win the Cup. Of course, I'll be screaming my head off during and after the game as we celebrate back to back Turner Cups. Do I sound confident enough? Go K's!!!!

So far, I've given and graded a World War II test. My English class is working on their research papers. My Econ class will be finishing up our unit on international trade. I will go teach for 2 hours at the library and then head to, what I hope, is the FINAL game of this series. To top of the day/night, I will celebrate madly when the Komets win!!!

RunningKomet - I did that one time. I was teaching a freshman math class (Algebra) and one of my students would see me at the games. We were talking before class and I told her, if a Komet scores a hat trick any time this weekend, I'll give everyone 30 extra credit points for each hat trick scored. I even let her pick the Komet. I NEVER thought a hat trick would happen, they rarely do. I was hoping she would pick St. Pierre, but she pick Sean Venedam. Well, wouldn't you know he scored 3 hat tricks that weekend. Everyone got 90 points. Needless to say, that class loved Komet hockey. However, I learned never to associate extra credit with the Komets. I still see that student at the games, and she and my family love to remind me of that. LOL.
