Blake it is a story like this that sets your writing apart from the rest. Be proud. Awesome.
This is so amazing. Blake: I can't thank you enough for all of the unbelievable awesome articles relating to the 60th anniversary. THANK YOU so much for capturing, PERFECTLY, exactly how important the Ks are to Fort Wayne, the Community, and the FANS!
I am deeply appreciative of and for your work!
Fantastic Story. Wonderful history. We are truly blessed to have the rich history. It was passed down to me and I passed it on to my son. He lives in Louisianna and follows the Komets along with his 3 boys. And so it continues........
When you write "quality" stuff, then the longer the writing the better it is. I thought you learned this lesson long ago by reading my contributions.
Good stuff Blakes...You are a Super Fan!!!
LOL
Really Good Stuff.
anyone notice the shots from the point on the chl page is our rink in the back ground
Oh, by the way. Accordint to the CHL transaction page:
10/20/11 Arizona signed a contract with Olivier Hotte and
10?21/11 Dayton waived (D) Nathan Oke.
Wow Blake, that was incredible. Great story. Is there a book that has more stories and history like your article? And with that being said I hope PC reads it and even though he was released, he can feel good and proud with the fact that he was a big part of that history and tradition. He helped the K's to 3 IHL championships and is a good guy on and off the ice. I am sure he is a little down right now, but maybe that will help him smile. LETS GO KOMETS!
Reiterfan, I noticed that too on shots from the point picture. Took me a couple times but the dead give-away was all the sponsors and the ginormous "INFINITY" sponsor on the ice.
That's what she said! (referring to the subtitle).
Story was great though
Great job Blake, I'd say this story could be your best work. Loved the mention of Gerry Randall, not too many remember him I'm sure, most my age don't even know he exists but I see him 3 times a week...Very nice man
Great article, Blake. Brought back many memories. I am 61 and went to games in the 50's. I try to explain to non hockey fans why I like the Komets but can't do it the way your article does. We truly are blessed to have the K's still here through all the struggles. You are a treasure too, sir, and thanks again.
Absolutely great stuff!
