What, no pork tenderloin?

The governor drops by for a northeast Indiana visit, but only for smaller newspapers -- the Fort Wayne media (gasp!) were not invited:

Gov. Daniels fielded questions on a wide range of topics ranging from Daylight Savings Time and Major Moves to Indiana's best pork tenderloin sandwich.
Attending for the News-Banner were Managing Editor Joe Smekens and reporters Justin Peeper and J.G. Wallace.
After greeting some restaurant patrons and staff members, Daniels settled down in a back room with an iced tea and a slice of pie and opened a freewheeling discussion with area media.

The story also included the fascinating detail that, when he was touring the state as a candidate, Daniels ate a pork tenderloin in every county. That's a brave man.

As a hard-hitting journalist and curious reader, I naturally wanted to know: So what kind of pie did he eat? We have to read the related story for that, although his choice is left a little ambiguous:

Gov. Daniels asked about the pie selection, and Wenger listed more than 10 choices.
“If you had to choose (pecan cream pie) or peach cream, what would you pick?” Gov. Daniels asked.
“Probably the pecan cream,” Wenger said.
Clad in khaki pants and a blue short-sleeve dress shirt that said Indiana Pork, Gov. Daniels drank a large glass of iced tea and ate the slice of pie as he answered journalists' questions.

If the Fort Wayne media had been there, I can assure you, that detail would have been cleared up.
