Two bookends of the regular season for me.

Attending the opening pre-season scrimmage with my then six year old son and rooting for this local kid named Schrock to get a place on the team. He hustled and worked hard every second on the ice, but seemed a little small. We were both glad when he made the team...little did we know what a hometown (fighting) hero he'd become.

The last game of the regular season had me laughing when Flint skated on the ice after losing the game and saluted the fans knowing that they were in the playoffs. Never seen anything like that in all my years of watching professional sports.

My Favorite memory/game this season would have to be game 6 up in Port huron, Hoberg was horrible but we scored with 2 seconds left in the game to take the lead. I loved that the place cleared out as fast as if someone had pulled the fire alarm..and all that we left standing where the 2 sections of Komet fans still cheering on a huge Win...And it was memorable because I was able to share that with good friends and family.

Definitely Game 6 of the Port Huron series, watching Leo kiss Hawthorn, seeing Schrock's eyes light up in game 1 when he scored his first professional goal, ditto watching Phillips, seeing intensity in Chaulk's eyes, Guy's pass of the cup to P.C. I could go on and on...

My greatest memory will always be the last minute of the game #5 last Saturday. I swear my table was actually vibrating due to the noise level. I have never experienced that before. Not at any other Championship game. I will always remember that moment. Simply unbelieveable!

2 nutted fruit cakes....LOL

Favorite memory was Brad MacMillan coming out of the penalty box to beat the living crap out of that big turd named Jason Lawmaster, and also Robin Big Snake posting messages on his Facebook that he wanted to fight Mac, and then running from him at every chance he had to fight him, plus quitting the night before we were supposed to play them here when he knew he couldn't run any longer from Mac, so he wussed out and quit.

I know this isn't on everyone's list, but you know it was something that will be remembered.

Shaf's standing ovations at his last game gave me goosebumps too.

The energy in the Coliseum last weekend was something I won't forget for a long time. I've never heard the crowd so loud for so long. Wasn't it Smolinski who said earlier in the series that FTW fans only make noise after a goal is scored? Nobody can say that now.

Kind of like the new Mony Mony cheer.

Watching Mitch Woods deck Tab Lardner. I think that had to be the quickest fight I'd ever seen.
