Fingers crossed for the Flyers, but it is true that the cup has been won by the visiting team a lot lately. If Chicago is going to win -- and I said I thought they probably would -- tonight would be the night to do it. Anything can happen in a game 7. I'll say 6-3 Hawks. But I'd prefer it be the other way around!

Making more money for a home game is a non issue in the NHL, especially considering how much championship merchandise money they are going to make off of a title.
As for predictions, Flyers 3 Hawks 1. Flyers play way too physical at home for the Hawks to have scoring chances.

On a non-icing call when the fans are booing, "About 10,000 linesmen think they saw an icing."
Chicago defenseman, no stick, goes down to block a shot. The puck ends up under him and two Philly's are hacking the heck out of him trying to get it loose. "There are many good surgery schools in the Philadelphia area and there are two candidates on the ice." Classic.
I'm thinking of getting a T-shirt made, "I've been Prongered" meaning a cross-check to the back.

What a game, before the third started I told my son we are going to overtime then its anyones game. Kane was the only one in philly that saw the puck go in! All 20,000 people just stood there and they didn't show the replay on the scoreboard! Chicagos game 5 crowd was much more into the game then the crowd in Philly.
Thad had to text me the details of Kanes goal and I shared it with the blackhawks fans around us because no one saw what happened.
The chicago fans showed up in chicago in a sea of red, the Flyer fans showed up, got their free shirt and created the sea of orange. Just my observations but I'll take the chicago crowd over the philly crowd!
I'll leave the details out but I had to shut one Flyer fan up for being rude to my kid. That type of stuff didn't happen to the flyers fans around us in chicago.
It was neat to see Torch hoist the cup.

Talk about a hard angle shot. Yikes. That's one of those plays where you have a hard time believing it actually went in until you see the overhead replay. I always laugh when Bettman gets booed. Why do I get the feeling he relishes it? I always imagine that the "Imperial March" is playing in the background when he shows up. And Toews did Hossa the honor of handing him the Stanley Cup first. I threw up a little bit in my mouth when I saw that. ;)

Wow! I had to rewind and rewind and still couldn't see the puck go in. Only after the slow-motion replay could I find it. I don't know how it got in there! Kane was the only one in the whole place who knew that it did and since the goalie didn't protest, I assumed it was in. It was just weird the way everyone else just kept skating around. Did anybody wonder where the puck was? What a way to win a game and take the Stanley Cup. And yes, Doc and his comments were hilarious. Way to go, Hawks!
