The Komets WIN to play another day...I am interested to read the comments to this question. OF COURSE i would prefer some exciting brawls AND a big win....but since that is not an option...WIN WIN WIN!!!

WIN... Let's land some punches in the win column... A left jab Wednesday night, a right hook Friday night, and a knockout punch Sunday!! Play harder, Play smarter, Play Komet Hockey!!!

A "W". Watch MMA if you want to see a fight. Hockey is much more than fighting.

I love the implication that having both just isn't possible.

No Brainer, Komets win option.

Of course they could stand up to the Rush and fight back to stick up for OC AND win, but if there were only two results like Blake said to chose from, how could anyone say fight back and lose????

You do anything to win and play again, if that means being smart and skating away, taking dives, winning 1-0 or 9-8 in a sloppy game, who cares???? The only thing that matters in the W!

I posed it that way JM because I don't think this specific team can do both.

When they dont play like we know they can, I wonder if this team can do either.

A win and then two more equals a punch in the face of Crapid City

Jason

How is that even a choice. It hurts much more if get them back on the scoreboard than on the fight card.

Bob

Well said, Jason.

Watching the boys light up the scoreboard against Rapid City would be the ultimate form of payback.

Let's light them up for about 7-8 goals....

And Punch Colt King in the Face???

RobC

Something similar to what the Blackhawks did to Vancouver tonight would do the trick... although the refs stopped any extra cirricular activities from happening after the score got out of hand.

... and punch Colt King and Les Reaney in the face!

I would like to see a win for all three games. Show Rapid City and the CHL that we are not dead horses to lie down. We have been there before we can do it again. Like the one comment said play harder, smarter and no penalities. The Refs and the CHL have written us off. WE have veterans that have been there before and surely would like to win one more cup before some of them retire if they choose so. All I can say is GO KOMETS LET'S BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Option? Win of course! Should have kept Mirasty and played him a regular shift. But the coach thought otherwise. To late now. As Charlie now says: "WINNING!" Lets put a SHEEN on this series!

I think that B is the only option, as the Komets are not set up to be a fighting team.

It is a game, you have to win the game first. I would in fact be dead against starting a fight. If you lose that battle it can hurt momentum. I wouldn't back down, you need to meet the challenge but don't start it.
I think RC will be expecting something. Just come out tough as nails take the body every chance, win the little battles and you win the game.
We can be tough without getting dirty, two hands on the stick and go right through the guys chest with the shoulder. Take a few of those every game and you will be dishing it off quickly.

I completely agree Mike, although I don't mind seeing a fight or two. Playing hard hitting, aggressive forechecking, hard backchecking is needs to happen. NO TRAP!

Hurt them on the Scoreboard. A win for sure is what I would want.

I think a 6-0 or 7-0 or similiar drubbing would make a bigger "statement" than going out and pummeling them.

Winning at home with the fans into the game will do more than a fight. I know I will try to do my part to get under the skin of the Rush players!!!

Its scoring and winning time boys. You can drop the gloves all year long but now its about winning games and getting to the CUP. Thats what we play for after all right? Not just slapshot blood on the ice.
