Tailing the Komets

While you're all here...

Would anyone like to buy some books? LOL. I'd be crazy not to post this with so many new visitors checking in. You can order Tales of the Komets, Legends of the Komets, Live From Radio Rinkside or The Biggest Mistake I Never Made from this website.

You guys are on your own the rest of the night. It's been an extremely hectic 32 hours or so and I'm whipped. Talk to  you tomorrow.

Why did you leave us all alone.
I sought the blog over and thought I found Schebig

Hit wrote another and Pffffft I am gone!

I didn't call anyone a Nellie directly and didn't break any of managements stupid rules! And Schebig and Hit secretly love me!

Get ready for your beatdown Colorado, park that fancy airplane out at Smith field so you can get on it quicker after the game when we pound you.

Where have you been all season? The Komets start winning and you come back on here trying to call people out?

SSDD with Burgee.

A few thoughts.

First. Hey JungleMonkey, don't get caught up by Burgee trying to get at people with his post above. Remember what Blake always says, " I can't believe you guys fell for it again". Actually, under the thread, "Fight photos", Burgee contributed a lucid, intelligent, well thought out post. I would encourage everyone to read it. I knew you had it in you, Burgee.

Second. The weekend games against Wichita had about everything you can imagine happen. Their little temper tantrum at the end of last nights game kind of reminded me of a little spoiled child who was used to winning ( CHL's hottest team?) and didn't get his way. I'm taking my team, getting on the bus and going home 'cause those mean Komets didn't let us win.

Third. #55 for Wichita. He scored four goals in the second period. More impressive than that is the fact that all four goals were scored within five minutes of each other. Check me on that, but I think I'm correct.

Fourth. The Komets had the game totally under control, were on a power play, and got called for too many men on the ice. P. C. Drouin started yapping at the referee and got called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Drouin just needed to shut up and go to the box. Did he think he was going to change the ref's mind? From that point on the momentum shifted, Wichita scored two quick goals, and the whole game changed. If you noticed, Sims must have been angered also as Drouin didn't see any ice time for a while. Drouin is a vet and should act like it.

Fifth. The attendance was announced at 10,011. The game itself was the best advertising than the Komets could have expected. Goals, fights, penalty shot, line brawl, and most importantly a win. Think any of those report card kids have already beckoned their parents to go to another game?

Sixth. Players set to come off IR. Mirasty coming in. Hopefully Ratchuk will be back this week. Trade deadline Monday, cuts, IR list, who stays and who is to go?

Seventh. Komet are now at .500!

Eighth. Jeers to the Journal-Gazette. In my edition this morning, the game was not mentioned as if they went to press early. One of the best games of the season and we will have to wait until Monday for the story.

Burgee isn't getting at anyone. We see him up in his plush, foo-foo filled ivory tower. Blogging when the Komets win. Burgee is Burgee. We all know what to expect.

I've been hanging out with Komet Warrior all season at the OHIC. Now for the truth, I need a new phone, can't blog worth a monkeys uncle using this thing, couple more weeks and I can sign my life away for a free phone again.

Alan used a movie line! Caught him
