I'm thinking about going to Dayton for my annual road trip to see the Komets play. Anyone up for a convoy of Komet fans?

No way I'll be there for the NCAA games now....that is absolutely insane. I hope that by the time my kid starts playing I get some sort of parent discount or something because I will still need to be eating then, I suppose. Are they serious with those prices, or did I just read them wrong???? I can buy NHL tickets for pretty close to that price, much less IHL. They should consider themselves luck to sell a couple grand in tickets. Wow, how disappointing to me.

They had a special price in late February of 23.50 for Saturday, and 23.50 for Sunday. That is when I bought mine. It breaks down to 15.66 a game that way. Or else I wouldn't be going.

I would like to go, but I have to work on Saturday and Sunday (half day) then I have friends coming over to help me work on the hot rod Cadillac project...maybe have a cookout in the backyard.

Like ggeiselman we bought our tickets when they had the special. When I asked how long the special would be running the lady at the ticket booth said up to the games beginning.
I'm excited to go. Since I'm a Ball State grad, I will be cheering on the MAC school...go Miami.
I wonder if all the schools will bring their pep bands. Always fun to see a band at a hockey game.

Scooter, sec 21 I think is right behind the K's bench. That's where we sat when we went for the famous bus trip in February. It was fun. And don't fall for the "there's another bathroom across the hall and out by the exit sign" line....some Dayton chick tried that one with me. I did not fall for it, but I gave her points for trying to kick me out.

We sit in section 13 behind the goal that the K's defend twice at Dayton. Fans are nice and we really enjoy going there.
