tantardini--I don't think they are on speaking terms. Just a guess!

K-Zoo caused the damage, and the Coliseum is the place that got damaged...the Komets were only responsible because they were the party that the MC was leased to for the night...so to speak. It is like if you rented a reception hall for you wedding reception, and your cousin Eddie went to the toilet, and decided to take his blow-torch with him and fire-up the plumbing, the floor, the walls, the toilet seats, etc......you are going to be responsible for that damage and the hall will come after you first, then they will go after cousin Eddie for damages...whether or not you get your money back or not? I am not sure. But I imagine that the Komets paid the money with the thought that K-Zoo was in the IHL at the time and they were covering it for them....no hard feelings. But with things changing this summer with the Paul Pickard Performance of trashing the IHL behind the scenes and working on a sweetheart deal for his Wings without anyone knowing about it, I am sure anything that would have been overlooked before is now fair game.

Just my thoughts.

What does he mean he was made aware of it in April but doesn't think K-zoo did it? This story was out within a couple weeks after the damage took place. Surely someone questioned them about it before April!

Wendy-Do you really believe anything that comes out of Kazoo anymore? They have a very greedy owner who wants the City to build him a new building, a lying backstabing President and now it sounds like a GM that has know idea what is going on. They are all waiting with baited breath for Obama to save their State, County and City with a new high speed rail system, welfare and free healthcare. They also have a Governor that has absolutely no clue as to what she is doing (she wants to house terrorists in her state). It is really very easy to understand if you just think about it. I know you are smart enough to help them but they will not listen to you either.

As I posted in the other blog, we need to step back and not rush to a lot of judgements. None of us knows what happened that night. We'd look a bit foolish if we were wrong and someone else caused that damage. The suit has been filed and it is time to let the judicial system do its work. Lets take the high road on this and be patient. The truth will come out. Some of these comments are just full of emotion. Komet hockey prides itself on "character". Sometimes "character" is best displayed when one does not jump to conclusions and blame everyone in sight for an action, but instead, shows patience and lets the facts come out. There will be time for emotional outbursts later. First, lets make sure that they are directed to the true villains.

Alan- OK I'll chill out. I am a character. I do have pride and great understanding of what character is. There are just some people who get under the skin and ask for what they get. I know that I will never be asked to be on that jury.

The true villains are any who come in to play against the Komets. I HATE THEM ALL!! Oh wait, we still have almost 2 months to go... Um, cut and paste that into the blog on opening night eve. Until then, I'd better chill out. I'll sit on the ice in the penalty box.

I'm just going on the statement that there is ample evidence to prove K-zoo is to blame. If the evidence isn't there, I'd be the first person to say as much if I were on a jury assigned to look at the case.

Ahh, the difference between a criminal lawsuit and a civil lawsuit. A preponderance of the evidence. Like I said before, let's let the judicial system take over and do its job.
