Thank you.....now I am nuts and an idiot.
I am nuts, about my Komets....I agree, superfan.
This sounds pitiful, but I have to good for about 1/2 of those hits on the blog.....LOL
Hit already has
Hit already has 66.6% of the remarks & mightbite 33.3%
Average Cost to Employers in lost productivity..... $124/wk.
Go Komets!
"The three games that we've been there I've been surprised, but maybe that's because their fans are expecting them to go to the finals and they're waiting for the finals," the Icehawks defenseman said. "They better come (today) because it will be their last game." -Jamie Lovell
I giggled...

Mr. Lovell.....in the words of my generation...prepare to get pwned!!!!!
I guess that thread some time ago about the negative people keeping others away from the site and reducing blog hits was just filler.
Looking forward to a great game tonight. I've been catching up on some reading on here and it's been pretty interesting.
Hello out to everyone that I've missed talking to for a while. Alan, Hit, Dschebig, Burgee, Wendy, JungleMonkey, JR, Andrea, and the multitudes of others. You really do all make this site what it is and the information/opinions you all provide have been great reads, even if I've had to catch up on all of them at once. I've been in Indy finishing up my degree and haven't had too much time to check in on here. I have managed to make most of the games though. I think I could drive to Fort Wayne from Indy with my eyes closed.
GO KOMETS!
Says a dude that plays in front of 1500 people for a home crowd. What a dope. I hope Schrocky lights Lovell up the first chance he gets.
Kevin Hansen is -4 in the series, someone should spend the night reminding him. Cowan is a -7! Lets make sure these guys stay on the ice!
I'm glad Jamie Lovell decided to talk some "smack". We should thank him for doing his part to keep the Komets focused on the task that is at hand. I am sensing an even greater "quiet determination" by the Komets than at any other time during the season.
No one has a crystal ball in front of them to peek into the future, and yet I can't help but think that the businesslike manner in which the K's have played the last two games is revealing. Down 3-1 in games and down 2-0 in game five at home, there was no panic, no letup, no "throwing in the towel". Just a "never say die" attitude that was rewarded with the series going to game six, and then to game seven.
Anything can happen in a game seven situation. We all know that. I'd like to think that the K's, 1) with the momentum, 2) with the experience, 3) with all three lines scoring and confident, and, 4) with the home crowd firing them up, will come away with the victory.
THEY STILL NEED TO PLAY THE GAME and REMEMBER THE THINGS THAT HAVE GOTTEN THEM TO THIS POINT.
Stay out of the penalty box, shoot the puck, and get so close to that goaltender you can smell his breath. Don't let up. Turn one goal into two, two into three, three into four, and continue until the final buzzer.
That's all I've got to say except, "Good Luck K's". No matter what, this season ticket holder is proud of you all.
What was Lovell thinking?!? You NEVER want to motivate the opposing team. Anyway, thanks for the motivation. I would make sure that is posted in the locker room before the game for the boys to see.
Alan is correct when he stated they need to play the game. Keep things simple and smart. Never let up!
I look forward to a great game and RunningKomet, it was great to hear from you. If you are at the game tonight, please stop by and say hi. I will be in 208 wearing a green Notre Dame sweatshirt.
GO KOMETS!!!
i am buying the foo foo's with half of Blakes Blog hit bonus, the first 1 fan to meet me at the foo foo stand gets a drink out of mine! (of course you must be 21 years of age and older and show identification).
i think most of the hits were Paul Picard and Kzoo fans.
Schebig sticks chewing gum under the Scorers table every game.
Tonights official is:
Lagndon 5:2
Hawthorn 3:1
Luxmore 5:1
Hoberg 10:1
Welker 2:1
If Hoberg shows up i'm beating my head on the railing.
Place your bets, over/under

Who cares!
Andrea - what, no orange???!!!
If you need bulletin board material to get fired up for a Game7, then that's a you problem. They are already as motivated as they will ever be, and someone could threaten their mother and it wouldn't add anything.
The referee is Bob Langdon.
Burgee-You spell H-a-w-t-h-o-r-n-e, that is with the e. I thought you and him were "Buds".
Komet Shots-Under
Total shots- Over
Goals-Over
PP Goals-Over
SH Goals-Under
Empty Net Goals-1
Port Huron- You got that right on!
Thats the public spelling plus i get to call him Jimmie
I stand corrected. Yes, it is Luxmore. He let them play the last time he was here. Sorry about that.
Schebig was wrong again, how many erasers do you go through a night?
Over

PH: Done (if the K's don't get whistled every 3 minutes)
Scrums around the goalies: 13
Photos I'll shoot: 627 (of course that's before the Komets' end-of-series celebration when I make my way out on the ice).
PIMs: 36 (28 to the K's)
Post-whistle slashes: Too many to count
Called Post-Whistle slashes: 2
Times I'll hear the words, "You suck!": 2 to the 8th power.
Its called bulletin board material for a reason because you do find that kind of stuff taped in lockers, on the bulletin board, etc... It can be a motivational device...do they need it tonight? My bet would be heck no... Will that quote be in the back of a few guys minds tonight on the ice??? My bet would be heck yes! I would bet that a couple guys will have a lil extra in thier hit tonight on Lovell (given the opportunity)....
Blake,
You are surprised?
According to what most people think they know about Fort Wayne there is nothing to do but get dumb, get fat and watch the Komets ;)
The way my Facebook keeps lighting up with Komets messages in the middle of the work day, I think JungleMonkey's right about lost productivity!
No, orange. When I wear the green sweatshirt they win!
Blake - I believe when someone says something to the nature of Lovell, you post it. Use it to remind the team of an opposing players thoughts. That's all. It can't hurt anything, and like JR stated, might add a little extra to a hit to Lovell tonight.
They just can't get over exited. There is an adrenalin rush that can rob you of required energy later in the game. We saw it in the NHL playoffs Vancouver vs L.A. Vancouver came out so hard there was no way L.A. was going to win. It was a late game, I didn't stay up. But L.A. won 5-3 I couldn't believe it. Like Alan said "keep it business like". I agree with Blake these guys don't need the comment to get them going. However, when the legs are a little wobbly in the third, an opposing players verbal misfire might help get us over the hump. How is that for fence sitting? LOL. Hope to meet a few more of you during the next round.
