The more I read, the more I think the Komets are so fortunate to have a coach like Al Sims.

Danko, Guy, Bert, Rodger, Phillips, and DeAngelis were all mentioned in the article. Lol...
I really enjoy watching they rookies on defense. Bobby has had some amazing saves this season. Frankie has a nice shot from the blueline. Rodger plays a good physical game. I hope to see all 3 of them back in Orange and Black next season.

It wasn't intentional that Warner was left out. At the time I was researching this, he was playing forward.

haha...I feel a little tension. I really enjoy the defensive players more than anyone else on the ice (aside from Schrock). They seem to improve so much from the beginning to the end of the year. I know at the beginning of last year I was ready to cut the strings on Danko, and at the beginning of this year, I was ready to cut the string on Frankie. BUT they have improved so so much and they are probably two of my favorites now :) Shows that patience really is a virtue! I hope they are all back next year as well. I second that motion.

So the rookie defensemen usually start getting the hang of things in January? And after Christmas is when the Komets tend to start rising above the competition each year? Coincidence? ;)
