Simple put they are Great people! Dick still tells you if you do something wrong with a score sheet. He gets copies from all the cities and is more than willing to point out what they do wrong. Flossie was so nice and incouraging as a high school kid getting a ticket way back when. They gave me my chance to get involved with the Komets and I will forever be in their debt.

I've known Flossie and Dick for many years. I really miss seeing Flossie and Linda McCreary behind the "old" box office on the Parnell side. Back then there was "season reserve" tickets so I was there every week to see their smiling faces when I picked up my ticket. I was also there when Flossie dressed up as Wendy. Everyone was surprised when we realized it was her. The Zimmerman's epitomize what Komet hockey is all about. A truly great Komet family! Thanks go out to both of them for all their years of dedication and service.

What a wonderful family. :) If I'm not mistaken, that clinic that was mentioned in the story was the "free exhibition" my dad told me about. He said that before that, no one in Fort Wayne knew anything about hockey. It seemed like a wonderful idea to me -- something that all teams in new markets should do.
