The scoring and stellar defensive play of Frankie during the past several games is simply outstanding.
I am of the opinion he is becoming a serious contender for MVP.

Bob, I totally agree. Frankie was the best player on ice last Weekend when I was there. Two goals while they Komets were short at the start of the Bloomy game and then a great move to score in the shoot out against Allen.
But his real strength as you point out, is his defensive play. He can flat out fly. He caught a few opposing players from well behind when a bad bounce or pass made him vulnerable.
If they can just hold on another few games all the troops will be back. Some tough decisions in the roster department but that is a good problem to have.
Also great to see Festa shut them down in the shootout last night.
