Sled hockey is returning to Fort Wayne for the 4th Annual Bob Chase Frostbite and Silver Stick Sled Hockey Championship February 11-12, 2012.
o* * Teams from across the midwest will be competing in this event including players from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania
o * Adult teams will be competing in the Bob Chase Frostbite Championship which is part of the Mid-American Great Lakes Sled League. The top 2 teams at the end of the season will go on to participate in the Disabled Festival National Championship.
o * Youth Teams will be participating in the 2nd Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Final. Silver Stick is a non-profit organization that promotes Citizenship and Goodwill through hockey. More than 65,000 players participant in Silver Stick events annually.
o * Turnstone in partnership with Fort Wayne Youth Hockey are the hosts of this event.
o * Opening Ceremonies will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 4:00 pm.
