It's 1-0 Gems and they lead in shots 8-1 in Dayton's favor. Komets are showing no intensity at all. Not even a hint. I've also seen bigger crowds at a Komets' practice. Too bad.
Because Brian Gratz is the Gems' coach, there should be no surprise at all that a Dayton team that doesn't have anything to play for is playing this hard.

Very Lack luster game thus far on displayed by the K's and they have everything to play for, no emotion, no hitting, hustle, etc...4 shots on goal for a period? I have a feeling that Al will have a lot to say in the locker room

Typical Al Sims type of play, no offense. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Dont think they will come back for this one.
Same story all year.....we don't win the games we are supposed to. Even with home ice for the playoffs at stake, Al can't get their heads right.
2 things worry me about this Team entering the playoffs: Consistent focus and intensity and lack of a consistent power play.
Stupid penalty by Leo when K's mounting comeback
Chaumont -4, Bennefield -3, Leo -2 and a dumb, dumb penalty. Neither Bennefield or Thomas had a shot on goal, either.
Love how leo gets gripped on about his lack of hustle off the ice, and this and that. But yet Bennefield gets a free pass! Could have swore he was brought here to score. I see his lack of hustle every game! The first time i actually seen him skate hard for for about 10 seconds on sunday trying to cover a guy getting a breakaway!
