This is exactly why they say a 2 point lead is the most dangerous lead of the game. A 1 point lead is obviously even harder to hold on to, but a 2 point lead is the beginning of "false sense of security" territory. That said, I know no one takes shoot--out results seriously. And of course, there aren't any shoot-outs in the playoffs.
