Tailing the Komets

Komets win 2-1 in overtime

On a goal by Chris Auger off an assist by Leo Thomas.

Frankie DeAngelis scored the other Komets goal, and Nick Boucher made 29 saves.

Komets lost Brent Henley to an intent-to-injure match penalty which means he'll likely miss tomorrow's game as the league reviews the play for further suspenion possibilities.

Komets may yet clinch the Turner Conference title tonight, but we'll have to see what happens in the Evansville and Rapid City games. The Komets hold the tiebreakers.

Way to pull it out tonight Komets!!!!  Being down to 4 defensemen most of the game also made it even more impressive!  I know he doesn't play defense, but any chance now Mele gets into the lineup since we are in need of extra bodies ?

Should be a good crowd tomorrow night and a playoff atmosphere since there is a Conference Championship on the line!

GO KOMETS!!!!
