The Komets have signed Larkin Saalfrank to act as an emergency back-up again. Nick Boucher is under the weather, and Gerry Festa will start in goal tonight. David Franke said he expects Boucher back on the ice Thursday morning.
The Komets have not activated Dustin Molle as expected. They'll keep him in reserve in case someone suffers an injury this weekend and likely activate him next week to play Laredo.
Brett Smith is now also questionable to be activated for this weekend, Franke said.
``We're hoping that Friday he'll be able to play, but we'll have to see,'' Franke said. ``We don't want to hurry him back because we need him for the playoffs. We don't want to put him out there if h's not 100 percent healed, so we might try to give him an extra week.''

This stuff just never ends. It's been so long since I've seen Dustin Molle ( how many times has this been where he's scheduled to play and can't) that I think someone should call the F.B.I.
So Smith needs more time, eh? Better safe than sorry, I suppose.
