The Komets are bringing in 6-4, 220-pound defenseman Tyler Miller on Sunday. He was recently cut by Wichita after being acquired from Rapid City. He has 1 goal, 5 points and 6 PIMs in37 games this year and is minus-2. He's 25 and qualifies as a rookie.

HMMMM, I will have to go play the lotto tonight (see my earlier comment about acquiring a defensemen off of waivers) after suggesting this. Also, Blake's article in tonights paper seem to suggest that some/maybe many in Chaulk's opinion are not playing according to the rules (also another suggestion I put forth in an earlier blog comment)...also I have not, in the time I have been following the K's seen a comment like Kaleigh's critiquing the defense as a whole....not the best time to have a team in disarray with regards to it's players and it's style of play. My hopes are that the team has enough leadership present to deal with this, win it's remaining games and go forth into the playoffs with a great attitude.
With us bringing in this new d man are we cutting some one doesnt that put us over the limit? and what is the deal with dustin M he played fri but not sat. is it his conditioning?
Good Luck With Miller !!! He was a disapointment in Rapid City. He is slow and and doesn't care for the physical game at all. Not sure he will fit in with the Komets style of play.
