Tailing the Komets

Live blog here

Here's a few notes. Former CHL and IHL Commissioner Tom Berry is the supervisor of officials tonight. Tom Mele is in the lineup tonight, as is new rookie Derek Roehl. Brent Henley is in and David Starenky is out.

Nice to see that the Commissioner is going to be there to see what is going on but why is Starenky out??

Coach's decision/injury.

Interesting cause I thought he may go with 6 Dmen using Starenky as an extra forward / defenseman but supposedly he does have a banged up shoulder. Roehl must have been cleared because I thought him mention during an interview he was not cleared to play yet due to a concussion.

As for the 5 person committee I wonder how many times teams have used the appeal process?  I am also sure you have to put up some cash so if the suspension is not overturned then you are also out the $$$.  It will be interesting to see how the K's come out.

Yes, there's word, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait until tomorrow's paper. Not much change.

i'm sure any comments regarding the stupidity of the CHL double secret probation committee can be sent to:  administration@centralhockeyleague.com  and i'm sure they will forward them on to someone who cares

Milam got the goal. Has to be one of the longest in Komets history, but not the longest.

We need #60 to get his shot straight I don't think he has hit the net at all in this series

Burgee60

Rapid City has appealed the goal and the super secret committee of 5 will rule at the end of regulation

I agree wholeheartedly with Burgee60. A double secret probation committee trying to undermine the decision.
Boy, how I hope the K's can win this game and soon get away from this joke of a league. C'mon Komets, use this decision as motivation to put these guys away.
I never believed in the theory that the league was out to get them, but I do now. I would be ashamed if I was the league.

No matter what, don't stop playing, Komets. Go after them hard. Make sure that this joke of a league knows that you are here, no matter what the obstacles are they place before you.

I can't believe that we let Reaney just stand in front of our net......That's how they have scored all of their goals this series.  We need to keep the pressure on and not go into our usual defensive shell.
