Well I guess if they can't get a shot on goal on their own, it's ok for the referee to hand them one with just :19 left in the game. Seemed like a pretty weak call to me...

Well the league got there wish again. Hey Blake, "Whistle Blower Blows Game Part 2"? I see that the K's are a much faster and better team, Missouri does not impress me, they win because of goaltending. And the K's look more rested. No one to blame in the Komets orginization for this one. Played a great game and got hosed. I think they will still win in 6. And Festa needs to play. He knows this team better than anyone.

I have never seen a ref that makes him a part of Thames like this guy. Whoever supervises officials for CHL should suspend this entire crew from the rest of play-offs. That was not even close to an intentional knocking the net off and I have seen a lot of blatant attempts. But the Komets had their chance to put Mizzou away in the third with a breakaway, Thorne, and then Rizk who hit the post I believe. Then take the last face off where all they have to do is get the puck around the boards. What can't happen now is letting this game beat the again on Saturday.

So if this game had been a regular season game and the komets had been up 5-0 do you think blazic would have called that penalty shot?......I guarante it wouldn't have been called. Conspiracy or not that was not the right call.

what a joke! this league is a joke! so... please frodawg take a look at this video and tell us komet hockey fans of 60 years .. educated hockey fans of 60 yrs .. that this league does not have a fix on! its so obvious that its not even funny.. im a HOCKEY fan first and foremost... the CHL should be a shamed of its self.. what a freakin bush league! way to go CHL..way to rip off the one of the highest , most educated fan base' in all of minor league hockey ... what a discrace! this ranks right up there with championship wrestling ... total discrace.. totally unacceptable

So it was a bad call, so what! There were plenty of chances to put that game away. And the game winner was definitely a goal Boucher stops 9 times out of 10. Here is what we do, we stop crying, act like we have been here before go to the game tomorrow and watch the K's defense pick up where it left off and we win this series in 5 or 6. FTw is the better team and a 7 game series will prove it. Lets stop acting like Rush fans, and start showing support by actually going to the games and staying until the end!

people are upset not that it was a bad call but upset because the refs have no right to decide the outcome of a game. that call was not a correct one and the ref showed thu out that henley couldnt do anything to a maverick but they could stand right in front of the ref and punch henley a couple of times in the head and not get a penalty. there were too many missed off side calls and im still trying to understand how a goal is not allowed due to goalie interference without a penalty being called. now if the goal wasnt alloweed due to player in the crease then thats ok but thats not the way it was called. so yes lets show the league how a real class orginazation with class fans react the proper way. and thats to pack the jungle and lets take their stupid cup and celebrate all the way to the echl! that will show them. and lets take evansville and dayton with us and really put this bush league in a hole!
