Shots are 14-7 Missouri and the Mavericks are beating the Komets down the ice and to the front of the net. Nick is holding onto every save he can to slow the game down.
Missouri's goal came after Nick stopped a Sebastien Thinel breakaway but both defenseman went with Thinel and nobody cleared the puck so Ed McGrane could shoot into an open net.

HUGE scrum in front of Missouri net on PP, but the Komets can't cash. I haven't seen a pile up like that all year.
All I have to say is WOW! I have seen goalies steal games before but Effinger is stealing the whole series. We have dominated this period but he has made sensational save after sensational save. He is keeping them in the game.
