Tailing the Komets

One period to win it all!

It's 3-3 heading into the third period, and the Komets lead in shots 26-25. It's been a fantastic game, an amazing amount action. You may think that with six goals the goaltenders are having a bad game, but both have been astonishing. They've both saved it from being about 6-6.

I really don't know if the Komets can win this style of game. It's so different than the way they've been playing the whole year and the entire series. Both teams are playing great and we've just had amazing end-to-end action.

No matter what happens, this game will be remembered for  a long time.

They have totally flipped the forecheck from Tuesday.  They are sending in 2 guys into our zone tonight vs. sending in nobody Tuesday.  They have forced a lot of turnovers from our d-men.

Molle does not look good out there.  Getting knocked off the puck and knocked down almost every shift.  Still don't understand why you would scratch Starenky, who is a know quantity, for Molle who you know is not near 100%.

Starenky should be playing Molle has no strength in his leg.

Now a 5-3????? are you freaking kidding me?  After all the stickwork that's gone on for both sides he calls that?  How gutless can you be.......If they are up by a goal, no way that gets called.

WTG K's!  PK came through in the end.  That 5-3 was total BS to call in a playoff game.

Komets overcame some adversity in this series and found a way to win it.  Congrats to those guys who keep the locker room on an even kiel.  Total team effort.  This next series should be just as good against the two top teams in the leauge

All said and done, I think that the refs did a pretty good job tonight of allowing the players to play.   They missed a few calls, but, that's expected.  Congrats K's!!!

Most enjoyable game for me the last 2 seasons, not just because we won but everything, the way the fans were into the game.......

Bruggeman was the right official to call game 7. Had Missouri won this game, I would say the same thing. He called what needed to be called when it needed to be called.

Although I can't ever remember 6 minutes being called on two players at the same time, he made sure the players knew nonsense wasn't going to be tolerated. I have no problem with the 5-on-3 either - the too many men was legit and so was the cross check.

Both goalies were amazing - Boucher made three incredible stops in succession in the third and Effinger was great the whole series. The difference Thursday was the Komets pounced on the rebounds and got bodies in front of him.

I never dreamed the Ks would bring the series back to Fort Wayne — let alone win the series — after losing the first two at home, especially the way they played in game 2.

Like Sims said, they've never made things easy all year, but they come through when it counts. Now, let's win the cup!
