I'm speechless at what has happened. I like to have a little fun on here and embellish now and then, but now i am at the point where i am seriously pi**ed off about / at the CHL.
This is now blatent and what the league is doing across state lines now falls under federal racketeering charges.
This is not the stupidity of one person (ref), fixing professional sporting events is illegal.
Is the mob guy from Danbury involved with the CHL offices?
Missouri shouldnt be on the same Ice with us.

The league never has anything good to say about the komets on their website. Effinger gets his own write-up. Kinda fun to be hated almost. The league will be mad when we win the whole thing, so we can tell them to stuff it.

Find it kind of interesting how there's NO mention of the penalty shot in the official league write-up of the game. Seems like that would be a bit newsworthy...don't you think? Also, looking at the video, sure looks like Missouri's #40 hits the net too. But...I'm also trying to figure out how a waived -off goal bacause of "contact witht he goaltender"...isn't a minor for "goaltender interference."
The BIG question...is...how will this get Henley suspended for game 2?
Where's the five-man panel on this?

That does it for me and the CHL. I left after the third period and gave my remaining playoff tickets away. I refuse to attend another CHL game. Best wishes to the Komets, I hope you overcome the obstacles the CHL are throwing at you!

the crap that has come down is the reason to go to tonights game. we should pack the jungle and show the league how a real first class team with first class fans responds to complete idiocy. make this komets vs the chl and nothing should deter us from taking their stupid championship and taking off to the echl

The goalie interference is when a goal is scored and an opposing player is within the blue area on their own accord. The player may not actually be in physical contact with the goaltender. The call should be referred to goalie ad goalie obstruction. Had the team not scored there was no call and play would have continued. I believe, but don't recall that the announcement was goalie obstruction.
The net being knocked off the post is not a call a veteran quality referee would have called, let alone with a one goal game and under 20 seconds in the game. This ref has clearly shown in many of his calls and missed calls that his talents are far below what the CHL should have in the playoffs. The linesmen have done a good enough job to warrant them being on the ice.
