Tailing the Komets

we've got a scoring change

On Fort Wayne's sixth and last goal Sunday night, give the goal to No. 22 Mike Vaskivuo instead of No. 61 Chris Auger. The goal was unassisted.

Now, c'mon, admit it, as you read that you heard Larry's voice, didn't you?

I'm sure, that in all honesty, none of us ever gave a thought about Adam Russo needing to be lifted.  Russo is a darn good goaltender and still may have a lot to say regarding the outcome of this final series.

Hogan is the backup and Fort Wayne fans should be familiar with him from his time with Dayton.  He always seemed to play tough against Fort Wayne.  His overall stats were 17-14-5-2 with a 2.87 gaa and a .912 save percentage.  His Wichita stats are 10-3-0-1 with a 1.90 gaa and a .937 save percentage.

For the future games in this series I think it is important for the Thunder, Hogan, and most of all the Komets to realize no matter who they put in the net, the Komets have solved them.  It may not be important at all, but then again, it may be.  Just something to think about.
