Like the schedule, hate it? What games are you most looking forward to? Looks like a fairly easy travel schedule for the most part.

Looks good. Some enterprising travel agent ought to put together a package for the Orlando trip.
I like that we'll see 14 different teams at the Coliseum. It should be a fun year for traveling fans.
I think Kzoo is already saying Cha Ching $$$$$
Burgee is right on
I'm probably alone in thinking this but I think they play Kalamazoo too many times. The league seems to be trying too hard to create/reignite a rivalry. The ECHL is big enough that there's no reason to play the same team 15 times.
Hey Ron, with the ticket prices in Orlando, I think the round trip flight and hotel might be cheaper :)
Outside of that, I am excited to see the new teams/jerseys
We only go to Toledo 4 times, disapointing.
You are alone Orangekrush, this schedule easily adds $100,000 ticket tevenue to kzoo and if all works out a substantial boost for toledo as well AND we still get to see 14 teams come in
That Phil fella knows what he is talking about, alot like Alan but fewer words and 100% correct
I know what I'm doing on 12/14th. My question for fellow Komet's fans is whether anyone will be driving to PA to visit? Be forewarned, Reading, PA is full of cowbells.
Not a bad Schedule. Just wonder why they go so far into the season before they play Cincy? Especially since they're in same division!
i think its a badd business decision to open with kazoo. why?? opening night is a sellout no matter who we play so they should have saved the kazoo game for another night to try and get a sellout then also!!!!1
We only see 12 teams @ home. We see SoCar and Colo only in their barns
I'm with Ron on this one. It's been printed in both papers about 14 different teams coming in, yet I only find twelve.
I don't know PhillyLinda but she seems like a real nice lady who is very loyal to the Komets. I'm very glad she will be able to see them when they go to Reading, Pa.
Mr. "I have a concussion, wait, no I don't", Ryan Menei, has signed to play with Tulsa next season. You may remember him from Rapid City two seasons ago. He played in Europe last year and I'm hoping someone will tell Mike Vaskivuo that sometimes it doesn't work out. Hey, I got an idea. How about Colin Chaulk calling him??
Last thing. Any word on exhibition games and when they will be played??
The exhibition games will be played before the regular season starts.
For what Mike is being paid, Alan, you would try to live in Europe for at least one year. He'd be crazy not to make the attempt. Plus he's got a couple of different passports already so he knows what he's doing. I still think he'll be back in FW sometime, though.
Take the money while it is out there
Maybe Vegas and Alaska are going to sweep thru the midwest for the exhibition season. Didnt Kalamazoo spend their first ECHL pre season in Alaska
Less than $200 round trip from ft wayne to orlando on allegiant for the Orlando games, book early and often. Non stop flight!
Thanks for the help. I know they will be played befroe the regular season games. Next time I'll be more explicit.
Unless there was a lot of smoke being blown at us, I wonder why Franke said he hadn't given up on Vaskivuo and would continue to talk to him. I think it is unlikely we'll see him sign with the K's for next season, but I am wondering what the rules are for signing European guys during the season?
At the bottom of the echl home page there is a link to the rules.
It would be smart to keep in contact with Vask, but as Blake has said several times it boils down to one thing, who has the money. Probably wouldnt be wise to overpay for Vask, I would like to see him back but would also like the young man to make as much money as he can while he can. I dont understand why you think the Frankes would be blowing smoke, do you not like the Frankes
I think Alan has a lot of respect for the Frankes, sometimes he just has a difference of opinion, which is fine.
I think they were talking about that, as Alan suggested, in case Vask could possibly come back before the end of the season next year or even in the future. Seeing him in the future wouldn't suprise me at all.
