Will the game of the week crew reschedule their all day Komet show? Channel 57 was off the air all day Saturday.
I'm sure that we will hear soon that Colin Chaulk will now be the assistant coach in addition to playing. I'm wondering what effect it will have on the salary cap. I would think his whole contract would count toward it.
Franke mentions Kalamazoo as an example of starting from "scratch" when they entered the ECHL. The one thing they did was try to cherry pick the talent from the IHL. They did OK their first year. I hope that the Komets try to "cherry pick" from the CHL. Plenty of good, young players to offer an opportunity.
Without starting a huge whirlwind, and speaking of Kalamazoo, I wonder whatever became of Paul Pickard?
