At some point the needle will stop masking the issue. Having dealt with needles, bone spurs, swelling and other joint problems, Nick will need to make the final call, its his body, he knows how it will react and the pain and usage level he will have.
Having been in a similar vote, if the surgery would put me back to being able to play at 100%, get it done now, that way you control the games you miss, not your body, we need Nick fully healthy for the playoffs and on game shape.
