You can read about a major piece of memorabilia becoming available here. It's from the 1962 exhibition game between the Komets and Montreal Canadiens.
How much do you think it will go for?

Blake,
If anyone is interested in information about the stick, please contact me at larry@komets.com. The Komets.com website is not able to run an auction and I am currently trying to find either an auction house or a private buyer who would like to own this really cool piece of hockey history. Serious inquiries only please.
thanks,
Larry
Larry: Why not eBay? You certainly will reach a national audience and increase the odds that you'll reap serious $$ for the item, and there's the advantage of immediate feedback/knowledge for bidders. And, eBay does all the work. The lack of feedback is the major flaw I find with the auctions that the Komets run for the specialty jerseys (e.g. the Vera Bradley jerseys) at games. With the way they're run, you can be in the position of bidding $300 for a jersey for which there is already a $600 bid lurking in the bottom of the plastic jar. And, if there are multiple bids of the same amount for the same item, you have no idea which one was first. You might also consider MeiGray, the outfit that the ECHL uses to auction off game-worn jerseys and other items.
I agree eBay would be the best bet. I would love to have a chance to bid on it.
