Giosa, 27, scored 28 goals and 70 p oints last year for Quad City. Komets now have Chaulk, Smith and Giosa up the middle which is very strong. He's averaged about a point per game during his three-year pr0 career.
Maggio will be their top rookie for next season and is a major piece on the blueline. Can't wait to see what this kid can do over a full season.

These are 2 good signings. Maggio was great in the playoffs and will be a tud defenseman sooner rather than later and teamed with Henley(if he signs) would be a great defense line. Giosa has 66 goals and 175 points over the last 3 seasons. He has increased his goal total each year from 12 to 24 to 28. Playing with the Komets should only help that. These two along with Chaulk, Smith and Shrock make for a great start to next years team. And speaking of the goalie situation, I am concerned that the Komets wont have Boucher the full season. My question is shouldn't they consider resigning Festa? He was decent when he played and it would give them at the least a good backup if Boucher does play. I know he is around 30 but it would give them someone in case they cant get another good goalie in here. Also is Rob Nolan still available? I noticed he wasn't protected by Colorado. He is young and would fit the bill if Boucher can't go or retires.
Two very nice signings. Marino should be and I hope is on the radar of the Komets.
As for Festa I don't see him playing for the K's again...But I could be wrong.
