I was really disappointed last year that Bennefield had all those foot problems and we didn't get to see him at his best.  His year had to be a real "slap to the face" for him.  I wish him well in Wichita.

Speaking of Wichita, every time I read something regarding their team they always mention "unfinished business".  Anyone know what they're talking about??

Hey, what's wrong with an off year and a title?

I'm not sure if this is true or just a rumor.  I've heard that Quad City's Coach and GM, David Bell, has quit.

I will probably drive some crazy with this thought, but I wonder what the status of center Mickey Lang ( 61 games, 19 goals-21 assists, +18), and defenseman Bob Preece ( 6'2" 205 lbs, +23) is today.  I know that the Komets are loaded at center as it is.  They do need defensemen, however.

Additionally...

You may be aware that Chad Johnson, of the Miami Dolphins, has been arrested for domestic violence and kicked off the team.  He allegedly headbutted his wife of one month.  Now this is just plain stupid on two parts. First,  you should never, ever strike a woman, period.  Secondly, hasn't the NFL continually warned and instructed it's players never to lead with the head?

Kyle, nothing except that Bennefield didn't win a championship as he was left off the playoff roster. No ring for him!
