Awesome story, Blake!  Some things never change, do they?  Didn't know Pemmer was battling cancer.  So sorry to hear that.  My thoughts and prayers are with him and Parker too.

Very touching story about my all time favorite Komet. I was struggling with the day until I read that story. It was a good reminder to me that many are struggling with greater battles than I. Thank you Blake for the timing of the story and way it was written. Well done.

Awesome story! Thank you Blake for writing it.

I am very blessed to have known both of theses outstanding human beings in my lifetime.

They commanded great respect by just walking into a room. I have been around Parker away from his businesses as a young police officer. Every officer knew who he was and his reputation. I never had to fear him and his word was his bond.

I have nothing but great memories of Terry in his playing days. I was at the game he scored the longest goal in Komet history. I believe that record still stands. It was from the far goal line. It kind of did a bob and weave like a knukle ball right through the goaltendeds pads. He was as tough a hockey play as there every was. Most important a great individual.

They will both be in my prayers.
