Bob Chase inadvertently saved my life. Close to 13 years ago I was really having a tough go of it. My life was really spiraling downward. I was driving around contemplating what I should do . Nothing was going right, not one thing brought me any joy or excitement . I was really ready to cash my chips in call in a day. So I started surfing the channels on the radio and came across WOWO. I started listening to Bob call the Komets game and couldn't get over his excitement . You can't listen to him and not hear his love of the game conveyed in his voice! I thought if Bob could get so excited about a piece of rubber going into a net, surely I could get excited about life! Bob is so genuine and real. His commentarys are inspiring and spot on. That night I tuned in started a lifelong love of the Komets for me. It's hard to explain really. But listening to Chaser made me happy, got my thinking out of a negative mode and gave me a reason to get excited about life! I will always remember listening to Bob. We are blessed to have him .
