The Komets will be receiving two forwards from Norfolk, but they aren't sure, or aren't saying, whom they will be yet. The Komets are currently at the ECHL roster limit with 21 players, which includes two players on reserve. I don't know who those are at this time, but it's irrelevant because you can add or take anybody off reserve on a day-to-day basis. For all it matters now, they could have Colin Chaulk and Brett Smith on reserve and they could still activate them for Friday's game. In fact, that might happen this year as a way to save money off the salary cap.
Anyway, the Komets should know tomorrow which two players they are getting and which two players will be leaving to make room for them. It's going to be a long, long season with roster moves.
