Great win and I'm loving the aggressive, fast paced ECHL hockey, but a more minor thing I'm curious about is does anyone else not like the new goal song? I really liked Crowd Chant which has been the song for awhile and I feel like everyone else liked it, so why change it? Nothing tops Rock and Roll part 2 but I don't ever see that coming back, but I and seemingly everyone else seemed to really enjoy crowd chant and the distinct clapping rhythm that went with it. They should at least have done something neat like a fan vote online for the new song, I would be curious to see what wins assuming Rock and Roll Part 2 wouldn't be a choice. Who better to satisfy with the new song then the fans themselves who could feel like they influenced a big part of the game atmosphere. Other than this minor issue, great hockey and some of the best hockey I've seen ever here in Fort Wayne. Go Komets!

Many fans are complaining about the new goal song.  Suggestion:  All fans contact the Komet office and let them know how we feel.

Calling all komet fans, I like many others am disappointed with the new goal song this year, lets see what we can do to change it by contacting the komets and suggesting a fan vote using social media. Email them, call them, use social media or whatever it takes to get there attention and possibly start a fan vote which is the most fair idea and also would be fun and interesting. Go Komets!

The best part of the first 2 weeks of ECHL hockey action is our biggest concern is the goal song.  It's not the officials, financial straights of other teams, or the quality of hockey.  I thought last Friday, Kalamazoo looked like a team that had been in the league a bit.  Much faster and fundimental then what we had seen in previous years.  Saturday, I thought both teams looked that way.  And the goalteding, WOW.  The score might have shown 4-3, but easily could have been 7-6.  As the year progresses, and teams get comfortable, it's only going to get better!!!
